As a result of Christ’s resurrection, believers are quickened (that is, alive) with Him and made to sit with Him in heavenly places where sinners, sin and consequences of sins are not allowed to operate. The Bible says:
“But God who is rich in mercy, for the great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” – Ephesians 2:4-7
Believers are quickened and raised by the Holy Spirit at the same time Jesus Christ was raised. If you are saved, you are raised. Every saved believer is a raised believer. If you are raised; you have been made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places.
