Jose Mourinho has sanctioned a British record £60million bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Sun reveals that united are in a bidding war for the 23-year-old’s signature with La Liga champions Barcelona and Real Madrid who have made no secret of their desire to sign the Frenchman.
United offered an initial £48m fee plus £12m more in add-on payments based on United’s success and Pogba’s appearances which is slightly more that the £59.7m they paid for Argentine flop Angel Di Maria in 2014.
