Topic: Truly, A Merciful Father [Tuesday June 7, 2016]
Text: Micah 6:6-9
Key Verse: "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" (Micah 6:8).
The scene of a grieving father standing before his stubborn and wayward son and pleading with him to renounce his destructive lifestyle would touch any reasonable person. But the picture of the patient Almighty God serially wronged by His children, calling on nature to witness His people's sin, is an overwhelming testimony to the bottomless mercy of God as against the extreme iniquity of man.
