Text: Esther 10:1-3
Key Verse: "For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed" (Esther 10:3).
There is a beautiful saying amongst the Irish peasantry to inspire hope under adverse circumstances: "Remember, " they say, "that the darkest hour of all is the hour before day. " Of a truth, (according to another popular saying), "the end justifies the means".
