Text: 2 Samuel 8:1-8
Key Verse: "Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went" (2 Samuel 8:6).
There is a time in a man's life that he sits down to count the blessings of God. David has been a man of war, conquering kingdoms and leading many people captive from various countries and provinces. In our text, He continued with his exploit; moved against Moab and subdued them; smote Moth and converted the citizens into his servants that later brought gifts to him.
